Graphic Design
Artist’s Statement
I am constantly creating, always with a sketchbook and camera at my side. Many times, these sketches and photographs combine, transform and blossom into a finished artwork. Even if they just stay in my sketchbook or stored away on my computer they may always be revisited for future inspiration. Sketches and photographs are a numbers game; the more you sketch or photograph the chance of success is much greater.
In school I was always interested in technology and traditional art. I have a degree in computer science with an emphasis in computer animation and a BFA in studio art with an emphasis in sculpture. Although I did not major in graphic design, I had many courses and always excelled and enjoyed them. To me it was an amalgam of the technical and the artistic.
After school, I have pursued freelance work as both a web designer and a graphic artist. I have a constant thirst for knowledge; I love learning new technologies to further facilitate my artist endeavors.
